Maggie McCarthy is a professor of German Studies at Davidson College, where she also teaches in the Film and Media Studies program. She has published articles on German literature and film and more recently a book on German feminism. At Davidson she has taught film classes in translation on art house films, depictions of memory on film, and filmic adaptations.
