Between 2002-2012, Carla Hanzal worked as curator of modern and contemporary art at the Mint Museum, where she curated 40 exhibitions and managed public art projects. She then joined the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte as vice president for public art. She is currently an independent curator and arts consultant.
